Smokefree Advocates,

First it was grocery stores; next it was restaurants; then it was bars.
Private clubs were the hot topic for a little while.  As society has
recognized the health dangers of secondhand smoke in different types of
venues, it has eventually become commonsense that people shouldn't smoke
in those places.  Now that over one-third of the U.S. population lives
in venues with smokefree restaurants and/or bars, increasing attention
is being paid to casinos and to the health of people who work and visit
there.

ANR is pleased to introduce our two newest factsheets- "Secondhand Smoke
and Casinos" and "Casino Support For Smokefree Gambling".  These two
factsheets address secondhand smoke exposure levels in gambling
establishments, economic effects of smokefree gambling, and public
support for smokefree gambling, in addition to quotes from casino
