		I live on 709 Ashton lane N.  If I can find an inexpensive 
	wireless device that would make it that far I would love to be part of it.

You are about 1.5 miles from me.  This is way too far for 
stock equipment.  The USR access point claims to go 800
feet, which is about a sixth of a mile, and most of the
other access points are far less.  I was hoping to find
someone just a block or two away.
