Maybe you could use a wireless sensor network to take pictures
of people who run red lights.  Someone dies every year at the
corner of Green and Prospect in Champaign because people regularly
run red lights there.  There are systems that take pictures of
people who run red lights; perhaps a wireless system would
make them cheaper.
