Also, Saverio, I helped organize this event from 2004 to 2012 (as long as
it's existed), and we have never denied entrance to anyone who has desired
to attend. Not one time.

The registration has usually been used mostly to get an accurate number of
people who plan to attend so that the right amount of food can be ordered.
It is not and has never been a money-making event. Funds raised through
grants and registration fees are always spent on food and drink during the
event or reimbursing the travel of participants who need travel funding.

If a member of your collective or any other person interested in coming has
concerns with the registration fee, or if they would like to request travel
funding, I would strongly encourage them to contact the organizers
directly.
