The IMC has some events to keep you entertained this weekend!

Saturday, October 19
THE ROOTS OF ORCHIS, OMA YANG, THE GUNS OF NAVARONE, THE BUZZARDS

The Roots of Orchis and Oma Yang are from San Diego, both on Slowdance
Records.  The Guns of Navarone are from Alton, and The Buzzards are
Steve Lamos's newest incarnation.  Check out this show to hear some great
music that will bend genres and twist your mind.
8pm, doors at 7:30pm.  $6 or 2 for $10.  All Ages.  BYOB if 21+.

Sunday, October 20
ADAM BRODSKY w/ DARRIN DRDA

Adam Brodsky has been described as a cross between Woody Guthrie and the
Sex Pistols, and this is at least the third time the Philly-native has
stopped through Urbana.  Darrin Drda has been writing songs in Champaign
for at least 10 years and is also kicks off the weekly Thursday IMC Cabaret.
8pm, doors at 7:30pm.  All Ages.  BYOB if 21+.

Monday, October 21
ZERO.TWO.SEVEN.FOUR. (0274) - REZULIN AND THE DEATH OF MONICA GEORGE

This indie film, directed by George Cowgill, is a documentary about a drug,
a death, and a trial.  Monica George was prescribed Rezulin for her type-2
diabetes.  A legal battle for justice with Pfizer followed after her family 
realized something had gone wrong with her medication.  This film is in the
middle of a two-month tour of the eastern United States.  The director
will present the film and answer questions following the film.  
Running time: 80 min.

8pm, doors at 7:30pm.  $2-5 (on a sliding scale).  All Ages.
