CORDERO (www.corderomusic.com)
On Amy Ray's Daemon Records and hailing from Brooklyn, Cordero play
Latin-influenced indie rock. Latin rhythms, horns, piano, percussion,
guitar, with tinges of Southern gothic, compliment Ani's velvet vocals
and imaginative lyrics combining to define Cordero's incomparable
sound. Though they may defy categorization, one of the band's "most
appealing traits is its ability to integrate a variety of influences."
Founder Ani Cordero, a Puerto Rican, drummed with Bee and Flower,
Man or Astro-Man?'s Gamma Clones project, and Number One Family Mover
before moving to the front as a guitarist and lead singer. The band also
features other members of Bee and Flower as well as Chris Verene,
drummer for the Rock*A*Teens.

AMERICAN MINOR (www.americanminormusic.com)
Originally from Charleston, WV, American Minor recently relocated to
Champaign-Urbana, upping the ante on local Southern rock'n'roll.
Having already played with Superdrag and the New Bomb Turks in their
first year as a band, the group headed into the studio with Cracker's
David Lowery (who also produced for the Counting Crows) to record
a demo which has already drawn considerable interest from major labels as
well as larger indies. Compared by a local music editor to Whiskey Town,
the Old 97's, Drive-By Truckers, and early Wilco, these boys are tight
as hell and plenty sincere. See for yourself what might be the next big
band to come from Champaign-Urbana.

EVERYBODY UH OH (www.everybodyuhoh.com)
Easily a hometown favorite, Everybody Uh Oh's recent debut (_Man Am I
Brad_ on Arborvitae Records) were among Record Service's top ten for
at least a week. Producing indie pop influenced by Yo La Tengo,
Neutral Milk Hotel, My Bloody Valentine, and even Smashing Pumpkins,
this band will please your ears and make you wonder how they were named.

All IMC shows are non-smoking and all ages. Non-alcoholic beverages and
snacks will be available. BYOB if 21+.
