Anyone available to staff a table at this event next week? It would be a
great venue to promote Mini Makerfaire.

Good morning Ms. Moore,

Thank you for providing this information.
1. Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center (ucimc.org)
2. Contact Person: Carol Ammons, Operation Director
3. Program Participants - 10 - 16, grades: 4th - 10th

We have several programs that youth can participate in coming up and during
the summer:

1. Mini-Maker Faire - *Urbana-Champaign Mini Maker Faire* is a one-day,
family-friendly event that celebrates arts, crafts, engineering, music,
science, and technology projects and the Do-It-Yourself spirit in our
community. At the UC Mini Maker Faire, the focus is on the process of
making -- not just the finished product.
2. Summer-Sew-Fun - Future seamstresses & fashion designers — experience
summer sewing at our Costume Closet Sewing Studio and learn sewing skills
in a relaxed extended time period. Class will run: June 5 - July 2.
3. Media In Action - UC-IMC seeks to engage young people in using media as
a way to actively participate in the world around them. Our mission is to
work with young people most affected by injustice to build the knowledge,
tools, and relationships needed to create media for community power,
cultural expression, and political change through an 8-week course entitled
Media in Action. Ages: 14 - 17; Project Starts: July 2 - August 20, 2012
