action item (Avram): contact Cope for status update

Sarah's Proposal:

Sarah will be going on a month-long trip up and down the East Coast
meeting and interviewing politically and socially engaged artists. Partly
a personal project, partly an educational project. Sarah wants to make
these interviews into Radio News features, 5 20-minute programs, to
fulfill the latter part of that proposal.

Sarah's only need is a minidisc player for her trip. The suggestion was
that she take bag #5, the conference bag, so that she'll have the
butterfly mic and boundary mic.

We'll run Sarah's pieces on alternate weeks, so that there is room for
current pieces to run. Her shows would start coming ready around the
fourth week in June.

We wholeheartedly endorse Sarah's proposal and wish her well.

The Perennial Problem: Lack of Producers.

It was observed that Michael has produced 4 of the last 6 Radio News
episodes by himself or in collaboration, including tomorrow's. We need
to reach out to old producers and gauge their interest level.

action item (Michael): email producers and ask what their feelings are
on producing for Radio News

Next Week's Radio News:

Avram will produce a piece from his interviews w/ Zionists and
Palestinians on May Day, and hopefully something w/ Clint's interview with
Jim Goestch, the fair trade activist.

Call your mother.

Respectfully submitted,

Michael Feltes
