[Imc-radio] Run for the WEFT Programming Committee!

Hi all,

The WEFT Programming Committee has openings and is looking for folks to
fill them.  Help keep our local community radio station running strong!

Below is a brief description of the PC's responsibilities and how to run.

Programming Committee members serve one-year term.  Members are
responsible for all aspects of programming on WEFT.  Duties include
soliciting program proposals for open slots, selecting proposals,
coordinating show substitutes, keeping track of satellite programming and
procedures for recording satellite programs, training new airshifters,
community outreach, working with other Committees at WEFT, the station
manager, and Board of Directors, and dealing with obscenity and indecency
infractions.  Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from
7-9pm in the Great Hall at WEFT.  Full PC members is 9 members.  Five are
elected by the Associates and 4 are appointed by the Bard. Board
appointees must announce their intention to run one month BEFORE the Board
meeting in which they hope to be appointed. A short statement about why
you want to run is to be posted at WEFT and on the WEFT listserv.
