[Imc-radio] IMC Radio News

Hello IMC Folks,

Most of what Sandra says is true. WRFU needs to develop membership and
infrastructure.
I have been talking to some people involved about launching a Chambana
Radio Cooperative,
kind of like the dc radio coop. You can find out more about radio
coops by viewing their website. http://dcradiocoop.org/

I have worked very hard on this show with the understanding that a
stipend would be granted for it's production. The radio group should
still have funds in it's account and if members of WRFU are interested
in pursuing a Radio Co-op, with a couple of meetings, those funds could
be allocated toward RFU development.

I have been very busy lately like most everyone else here in Urbana and
I apologize for not making the transition to the new IMC space quick
enough. When the show is canceled on WEFT, please inform me that it no
longer needs to be produced. I agreed to work on the show through the
end of August at the WEFT PC meeting last year when the funds were
allocated for the show's production.

I have no intention in going to court over the funds; however, I would
like to have a say in how that money is spent. I have given a good
year of my life to this organization and these accusations by Sandra
are very hurtful and demeaning. This could have been handled much
better.
