why not swap C: and D:?  are you kidding?  we're working with Windows
here!  such a small change would confuse Windows so much that the entire
universe might explode from Windows' bad programming.  we prefer to follow
Billy G's own view of the world here:  better to change people than it is
to change Windows.  (the C: drive is where all system files for Windows
are stored, and it doesn't like it when you move them elsewhere).

so, sue em!
