[Imc-tech] Re: [Imc] tech question re: repairs

cope was in here (the imc) the other day, and we spoke about this.  there
is no policy or approach to actually handling what should happen when
equipment is damaged.  what we thought would be best for this situation is
that cope would take it to Radio Doctor to get repaired.  if it's less
than $100, then she'll get it fixed and bring the receipt to either the
steering or finance group to figure out how the receipt should be handled.
if it's more than $100 to get it fixed, then we'd actually be better off
buying a new minidisc, and we'll (the imc and cope) will work together to
figure out how to purchase it.  and we leave it up to tech to figure out
a fair policy for equipment repair, when damaged by the person who checked
it out.
