actually, i'm not sure this is a tech responsibility completely.  Paul K.
is actually buying it, but needed "front" money to assist, until he has
found a buyer for his ADAT.  Thus, it's more like a loan situation, rather
than the IMC buying tech equipment.  Though, i do agree that tech needs to
provide input on what type of maintainence can be provided, before any
decision can become final as to buying the hardware.
