[UCIMC-Tech] WRFU tech issues - need help

Hi,

I finally tracked down Dan, who told me that others on RFU-tech and  
IMC-tech should be able to deal with all of our current needs for  
assistance and information. Dan himself claims not to have time to  
assist with any of our requests, so if you can address any of them,  
please let me know. Below items are pretty much as submitted to Dan  
previously, but with 'you' replaced by 'Dan', so please excuse  
awkward phrasing.

As far as I'm aware the problems with the RFU studio computer  
continue - I'd appreciate an update from anyone who has been able to  
take a look at this. I know Noel had taken a preliminary look, but  
don't have any further information.

ACTION ITEMS:
1 The WRFU server clock is not on summer time. This means the  
'currently on air' description is inaccurate. Please fix this, or  
pass it to someone who can/will.
2 You mentioned previously that PuTTy/RDP access could be available  
to a 'select few' - please set it up for me and Ray Morales. I have a  
Chambana username (baoillo) - will this work? Unfortunately, I don't  
seem to have the password for this Chambana account - can you please  
reset my password? Is RDP on port 3389? Finally on this, please let  
me know the computer name/address I need to contact through RDP.
3 Please tell me the phone number OJC has donated to WRFU. What is  
the process for accessing voicemail? Also, please create a mailing  
list to which notifications of messages will be sent. I will need  
administrator access to this list. RFU-contacts would serve well as a  
name for the list.

INFORMATION
1 What has been done to address the problems with the studio computer  
so far? Has any troubleshooting taken place (and if so, what's the  
diagnosis so far)?
2 What do you know about our transmitter checking software/devices?  
Do you know what types of monitoring equipment can be connected to  
the system?
3 Who are the currently-active members of IMC-Tech and WRFU-Tech.  
What are their areas of competence/interest? [This will help me know  
where I can direct technical queries other than to Dan.]
4 Who in WRFU currently has remote access to automation (or more  
generally has knowledge/permission to tunnel through the firewall, to  
automation or elsewhere)?
5 What group(s) has/have ownership of the production room project? I  
want to ensure WRFU input into the planning/design stage of the audio  
aspects of this project.
