[UCIMC-Tech] QB Registration

Yeah, I'm waiting to hear from Joy and Jason that 'multiple-user mode'
is indeed what it sounds like and that it's working for them.

I'm unsure that registration is a necessity to continue using
QuickBooks. The app is licensed with our key - I wonder if the '14 days
to register' is a scare tactic for Intuit to collect marketing and usage
data from its customers. The issue with registration is that it requires
a funcitonal IE, which is difficult to achieve on Windows Server 2008
for some reason. Please bear with me; I am a novice Windows administrator.

I will contact Intuit if I can't find this information in the QuickBooks
documentation. First I have to find the QuickBooks documentation.

Here's a breakdown of stuff that needs work on the Finance machine:

1. QuickBooks multi user
	probably working, requires testing
2. Allow multiple RDC connections to finance computer
	unconfigured
3. IMC VPN on Windows
	working, unfriendly configuration
4. Local backups
	in progress, currently not working
5. QuickBooks registration
	depends on 6
6. Tone down IE security
	?????

Thanks!
Brian
