[UCIMC-Tech] Proposal for UCIMC to host the GRC summer of 2012

Fellow board members,
I would like to put forward this proposal for brief discussion at the board
meeting Tuesday. It concerns a part time position for technology support at
the IMC and proposes ways a 10 hour a week tech position (to start) could
be funded as well as ideas planned for future economic sustainability of
tech support for IMC staff, members, working groups and tenants. The
proposal also outlines some key changes planned for the IMC Tech support
structure, moving from a completely free, volunteer led infrastructure to a
cost-recovery, sustainable model.
