I made this a Feature:

While it was written by a candidate, Ricky stays away from partisanship 
and makes no effort to promote his own candidacy to the disadvantage of 
others. It annouces an upcoming candidate forum, but also gives 
background and context, thus all candidates who choose to participate 
receive equal time and Ricky is facilitating this by publicizing it. It 
is an important, recurring issue in the community and, now, in the 
upcoming election.
