[Imcfest-volunteers] IMCfest Technical items: Kicking things off...

Things we need to get sorted:

-Stage reinforcement
This is in the works.  We have a guy who might end up rebuilding the
whole thing by the IMCfest but in the interm we are going to be meeting
on Wednesdays the 17th, 24th, and 31st at 6PM in the main space to
repair the existing to stage.

-PSA/Radio Ad
We need to create a generic PSA (for WRFU-LP, WPGU, WEFT), and a popping
radio ad for WPGU.  The WPGU ad should probably not say anything about
the majority of the funding going directly to a somewhat competing radio
station and should say something like "...funds generated are going to
help your local Independent Media Center and its various social
conscious community projects".  These need to get done ASAP.

-Festival stage hands/sound technicians
We really need people to be stage hands and sound techs.  We will need
at least 3 stage hands per night plus a stage manager and sound
technician.  If we do 3 hour shifts for each that means we need:
Friday
6 stage hands
2 stage managers
2 sound technicians
Saturday
9 stage hands
3 stage mangers
3 sound technicians
Sunday
6 stage hands
2 stage mangers
3 sound technicians

I will be sending out a schedule to all of the IMC lists very soon with
various volunteer options available for people to fill.  Rory is
handling this more technical side of things so please address him if you
are willing to fill a spot.

-Video documentation/installation
Harsh and Chris were wanting to do both documentation and an
installation  of various video equipment.  We need to iron out what we
have, what we can get, and what we will need.
