[Newspoetry] Israeli rockets

This poem is in reaction to Palestinian position sthat had been pummeled
by Isreali
gunships in the escalating violence along the West Bank and Gaza.

LIKE ROMEO AND JULIET

Like the two houses in Verona,
The West Bank and Gaza Strip has seen
Escalating violence
Between the Israelis, the Montagues,
And the Palestinians, the Capulets.
For example,
When recently
A Israeli school bus
Was bombed,
Israeli rushed to blame
The Palestinians
For the attack,
So they retaliate
Not with guns,
But....
ROCKETS!
ISRAELI ROCKETS
pounding suspected
Palestinina positions,
Just like the V-2 rocket
Used by the Nazis
That terrorized England
With it s awful destruction.
But back to Israel,
I don't know when all of this
violence
Will end.
