[Newspoetry] Vanessa L. Williams Wins ISTD Award!

Vanessa L. Williams, who recently was in a flick called "Dance With Me"
with Chayanne
and Rick Valenzuela, was awarded a "Honorary Fellow in Latin Dancing"
from the
Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) from David Delaney, a
professional
ballroom dancer with ISTD certification in both International Latin and
International
Standard dancing.

The reason why she got the award is that the flick encourages African
Americans to
explore other areas of ballroom dancing---not just stepping.
