I dream crude revisions
of educational TV shows about
cataclysmic natural disasters

consume movies like cigarettes
can't get through you novels
so easy for you to say

death has no sting to our
pipe bomber, who calls it
being "dismissed
from this reality"

what reality?

office workers debate whether we may
blow the tops off mountains

tendrils of graphite fall from our
enemies' skies, blowing every fuse

bombs are made of people and
airplanes now, and propel themselves

rodents work by remote control
god help us if they
fall into the wrong hands

and robots are taking sides
when they come knocking
be ready
