The Last Barrel of Oil

The laws of supply and demand
dictate that the last barrel of oil
will fetch by far the highest price.

The largest reserves of petroleum
are found inside the regions 
upon which we are making war.

A principle we know too well
is dictating the order:
The last barrel of oil
will be fetched from Texas.
