I think that Jen and Carl illustrate an important idea:

In the same way the freedom of speech protects speech some find
offensive, reproductive freedom does the same.  We who believe in human
rights, dignity and equality need to support these freedoms at every
opportunity _regardless_ of our point of view.

At this point -- and let's hope it stays that way -- it's a woman's
right to terminate a pregnancy for any reason she chooses.  It's not her
doctor's, nor her parent's, nor her partner's decision to make.  Her
reasons do not have to be shared w/ anyone, nor defended.  

And yes, I really do believe that old line : If a man could get
pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.
