[Peace-discuss] Re: [Wefta] Randall Cotton asks all charges be made public

Hi Phil,

I'm an airshifter at WEFT and I've been involved in AWARE in
the past. I currently host The Courier on Wednesdays. I'm not
a board member, but I know for certain that Dave's opinion
does not represent mine. Just like no one member speaks for
all of AWARE, no one member speaks for all of WEFT,
particularly on an open listserv. Dave has expressed a
personal opinion. Period. To ask for the Board of Directors to
issue an apology for this is unnecessarily quarrelsome and
contentious.

Please, let's work for peace. We do not need to create this
rift between our organizations. WEFT is a good place with lots
of good people. Let's not forget the tremendous good it has
brought to our community when it undergoes difficult episodes
in its history. AWARE and WEFT are unique organizations that
have done so much good. I believe the true stength of our
organizations comes from the fact that our ideals, passions
and aspirations transcend individual personalities.

I'm sorry that Dave may have hurt your feelings.

Sincerely,
..:: Paul King
