[Peace-discuss] Re: [Wefta] Randall Cotton asks all charges be made public

Paul,

Thanks for your wise words of peace. It's refreshing. Mr. Madden did come
in to the Peace-Discuss list, trash Randall and basically call him mentally
unbalanced, and make some catty comments about AWARE. He's written to me
personally saying that he apologized to Randall, although he was pretty cold
to me. I also got a twisted, threatening email from another WEFT associate.

When I wrote my reply to the Peace-Discuss list (and CC'd WEFT because it
had been crossposted there), I spoke only for myself, and made it clear on
what I would do personally if this wasn't resolved to my satisfaction. I'm
weighing all of the information that I'm receiving, and overall, with the
exception of your email, it's not good!

Regardless of what the WEFT board thinks about Randall, it sure wouldn't be
hard for them to issue a disclaimer about an antagonistic email, would it?
It would save me having to sort through a bunch of conflicting statements on
what Mr. Madden did and didn't mean.

--Phil

PS -- My feelings aren't hurt. Rather, I feel antagonized and insulted. My
anger will pass in time, but I'll never forget the antagonism I experienced
at the hand of WEFT members just for raising the issue of a clearly unjust
posting to the Peace-Discuss list.
