Interestingly,though, Bush did watch a sister die when he was
young, an event that the GWU shrink who did a psychoanalysis-
at-a-distance last year thought to be quite important to his
psyche. Some modern analysts would see it as a matter that
the young George did not deal with by repression (which would
lead to neurosis) but "repudiation, withdrawal, or
foreclosure" (which leads to psychosis). He's mad as a
hatter, which is why he's so useful to his "base."
