I did ask her that (about Karen Yarbrough's resolution) at
Taste of Champaign -- did she support it, would she co-sponsor, etc.
She steadfastly refused to answer, saying at first that there hadn't
been a definite proposal but when there was, she'd respond to it.
Of course, Yarbrough must have tabled a specific bill, as definite as
you could hope for -- when I said that, and Jakobsson's assistant
agreed, she just looked grim and refused to answer.  I'd have
preferred a definite No.

I'm really worried about her no-taxes-at-any-cost pledge,
and gave her a hard time about that too.  Told her I wanted my
own taxes raised!  Voting among other things to underfund the
state employees' pension fund, as she did, is consistent
with that pledge but very irresponsible, of course.

She does support Amtrak, as she mentioned several times at the
Sierra Club candidates' forum.  That's something.  But
she wouldn't get my vote even if Tom Abram weren't running.
