I agree that it is likely our children or grandchildren who will
see global warming at its worse. Water shortages may actually help
with it, because Chinese and Indian economic growth may be stopped
by water shortages, cutting back on demand for oil. The biggest
unknown is changes in rain patterns. Will the Midwest become a
desert, or remain the breadbasket of the country? If the former,
and with our costal agricultural land flooded, the rest of the
world is in big trouble, because the US is armed to the teeth.
