[Peace-discuss] Gitmo to close, torture out

The AP reported about 10 min. ago that Obama has signed an Executive Order to close Guantanamo Bay prison, and another order requiring US personnel to follow the US Army Field Manual on interrogations (which prohibits threats, coercion, physical abuse - yes, incl. waterboarding).

The White House did say they are looking into tougher ways to interrogate prisoners and other places to keep them.  No real surprises there.  But, hey, that's two for our side!

Let's keep after it, see what else we can get...
