I can say the same thing to you as well.
It was NOT the repubs who obstructed Obama from expanding the war in Afganistan.
It was NOT the repubs who obstructed Obama's phoney " health care reform " , which was a give away to the corporate insurance industry, and denied medicare for millions via individual state intiatives until 2019.
It was NOT the repubs who obstructed Obama from supporting the bank bail-out and watering down the so called reforms on the Banking industry....
and the list goes on.
AS I Said ... IT IS THE CORPORATE MONEY !
ANY candidate who takes corporate money is compromised and is our enemy !
It does not matter what party they are.
Until YOU realize this and act accordingly, you will continue to be " played ". The corporate interests will continue to win and we the people will continue to lose !

IF is yr problem here, David J. Yes, you and I would both LOVE for the US to be a socialist democracy, and for lawmakers like Kucinich and Feingold -- and even Sanders, maybe -- to be at the right of the political spectrum, but we don't have that option... So we have to settle for whatever will keep the country from sliding even farther to the right... which means we go w/ our long-term conscience and vote for Dems, the lesser of evils, to keep the Repubs, the greater of evils, out! (Evidence to the contrary that Obama hasn't done anything... and he'd have done more w/o the obstructionist Repubs -- look it up). As I said before, if you don't get this, I can't help you.

Where is our " Hope and Change " ?
Since Obama's election and even before that when the democrats took control of both the House and Senate, the VERY SAME Bush policies continue.
NOTHING has changed !
The same people run the show via a different hand puppet with a different party label.
My family were staunch democrats going back to FDR and I myself was one as well, going door to door, doing phone banks, registering people to vote, etc., until I began to see and get fed up with the betrayl of working people by the democrats starting with Bill Clinton and NAFTA.
IF we had someone like Dennis Kucinich , Nancy Kaptur, Paul Wellstone, etc. that I was able to vote for, I would vote for them enthusiasticly,
But we don't, and how voting for corporate funded ; pro-privatization, pro-war, pro " free trade " democrats is going to change anything for the better in this country is a delusion !
Wake-up and realize that you are being played via the " good cop - bad cop " game.
Until we stop voting for ANY candidate that takes corporate money, regardless of their party label, start getting more active in getting REAL anti-corporate democrats ( and republicans ) elected in the primaries, and build a third party to hedge our bets for the general election when no anti-corporate candidates are available, nothing will change for the better !

If you really don't see any difference betw the Dems and Repubs, well, it's beyond my ability to help you with that. And if you do see a difference, but it's not enuff of a difference for you, I guess you'll have to live w/ yr choice. I am voting for the ONLY real alternative to corporate plutocracy,
