Dear Jenifer,
Urge your representatives and the President to consider the Afghanistan Study Group report.
Last week, a group of policy experts who want to end the war in Afghanistan - the "Afghanistan Study Group" [1] - unveiled a report calling for the U.S. to scale back its military operations in Afghanistan, and to promote power-sharing and political reconciliation in Afghanistan and diplomacy in the region to end the war. [2]
Would you help this report achieve maximum impact in Washington by sending a link to it, along with your comments, to your representatives in Congress and to the Obama Administration?

In a Washington Post column last week, Katrina vanden Heuvel, editor of The Nation, wrote:
"I hope this report will also be used as an organizing vehicle by peace and justice groups who have been calling for a similar change in course." [3]
That's what we're trying to do, what Katrina vanden Heuvel proposed: use the report as a vehicle to press a change of course on Washington. Would you help by sending the report, along with a note, to your representatives in Congress and to the Obama Administration?
