Remember it was the Clinton administration that created the problem by forcing 
through NAFTA and destroying much of the Mexican economy for the benefit of US 
corporations - and then militarizing the southern border of the US to deal with 
the results.  The border was essentially open before the Democrats got their 
hands on it.
