Well, it's not the S in BDS I refer to, but the "Brand BDS" (Omar Barghouti) in regard to their agnosticism towards any specific political solution, as opposed to targeted Bs and Ds, the most successful of which (as Finkelstein points out) have been conducted by those (including churches) promoting international law (2 states). I agree with Finkelstein/Chomsky's criticism that "one state" allows BDS critics to in some way accurately represent BDS as wanting to "destroy Israel." What that would mean in reality (although it's a fantasy) is of course democracy and civil equality. But debunking that notion does not counter the idea that this would destroy Israel as an ethnocratic state, which it always has been, regardless of the occupation. But Israel's ethnocracy should be dealt with separately from the occupation, in my view. Lots of countries have a minority that it treats like crap, including our own.
