The United States bombed a hospital in Afghanistan this past weekend. The war on Afghanistan enters Year 15 this week. 


We hoped that 250 people would raise their voices in opposition on the Thunderclap planned for Wednesday, but already 1,000 have -- and rising! Join here.


Almost 6 years after  President Obama's 2009 "surge," there remain close to 10,000 U.S. troops in  Afghanistan, with the Pentagon talking up the need to keep those troops  there and add more.


Our friends at Voices for Creative Nonviolence are mobilizing activists to gather in front of hospitals around  the U.S. and elsewhere in the world, under the message, "Dropping Bombs Here would be a  War Crime!" and "The same is true in Afghanistan."


 Our allies will be protesting in Chicago on Tuesday, October 6, at 3 p.m. in front of Stroger Hospital (at Ogden and Damen).
