news of the week in one word - "lies" and proceeded to share various news items
about the events in Iraq including falling troop moral, a growing guerilla type
war, possible nation guard call up, other nations refusing to participate
without UN resolution, and the increasing troop death toll. Bush's ratings
are falling in recent polls - AND THAT'S NO LIE. Concerns raised about
growing conflict on the African continent and those countries where there is a
possible relation to oil. As follow up of last week's presentation, David
G. also mentioned that Rios Montt was declared eligible to run for president of
Guatemala.

submitted to AWARE in several weeks. In addition Lisa C. suggested an
AWARE sponsored forum inviting today's participants from McChensey's Media
Manners (WILL 580) a radio program held each Sunday from
1:00-2:00.

open discussion for approximately 30 minutes was held. Many thoughts and
