Dear Media Reformer:
We're making great strides in the fight against Big Media thanks to people like you joining together to demand a media system that
serves democracy, not the bottom lines of a few giant corporations.
You're in the vanguard of this important movement. And we need your help to keep
gaining momentum.
A few months ago, Free Press distributed 10,000 media reform action toolkits - for free - to help citizens mobilize for media reform.
The toolkits provide easy-to-understand information on media reform and materials to help people write op-ed articles, file public comments with the FCC,
challenge broadcast licenses and cable franchise renewals, and enlist others in the fight for media reform.
The first batch of toolkits was snapped
up within 36 hours, but thousands of activists missed out.
With your help, we can raise $100,000 to put 20,000 more toolkits in the hands of local organizers
and educate legions of people about crucial media issues that will determine the future of our democracy.
Please donate now at www.freepress-store.net/membership.html
.
As we square off against well-heeled lobbyists in Washington, our only power comes from millions of people united for media reform.
Become a member
of the Free Press Action Fund today. Your contribution will help us arm activists across the country with the tools they need to be effective (and we'll
even send you a thank-you gift).
Onward,
Robert W. McChesney
President and Cofounder

P.S. A reminder: The National Conference for
Media Reform is filling up fast. Join more than a thousand activists, policymakers, entertainers and journalists in St. Louis on May 13 - 15. The early
bird registration period ends on March 31. Don't miss this special event! For information, visit www.freepress.net/conference/ .
