National Health Reform Educational Workshop Series

You are invited, on behalf of the Champaign County Health Care
Consumers, to attend the upcoming National Health Reform Educational
Workshop series. The workshop series is a follow-up to CCHCC's
successful Community Meeting on National Health Reform held in May
2010. The goal of the workshops is to provide consumers with
up-to-date, consumer-friendly, detailed information on the components
of health reform that are taking effect now and in the near future.
Here are the details on the National Health Reform Educational
Workshops:

Workshop 2 - Help for Medicare Beneficiaries: New Medicare Benefits
and Tips for Part D Open Enrollment
Date: Wednesday, November 3, 2010
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: Champaign Public Library
200 West Green Street, Champaign
-- This workshop will focus on changes to Medicare, including coverage
of preventive care, donut hole rebates, and other new benefits under
health reform. The workshop will also give information and consumer
tips on Part D open enrollment.

Workshop 3 - Finding Affordable Health Care: Local Programs & Resources
Date: Wednesday, December 1, 2010
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Champaign Public Library
200 West Green Street, Champaign
-- This workshop will focus on local resources, programs and clinics
providing affordable health care and dental care for low-income and
uninsured residents of our community.

Now that health reform has become law, there is much work to be done
to explain the law to consumers and to the community.
