[Peace] conference on the Middle East and North Arica

Hello all,

I would like to draw your attention to an upcoming interdisciplinary
conference on *The New Middle East*: *Social and Political Change in the
Twenty First Century, which has been organized by th*e Center for South
Asian and Middle Eastern Studies <http://www.csames.illinois.edu/> (CSAMES) at
the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign<http://www.uiuc.edu/index.html>.
The conference will be held October 18-20, 2012 .


All events will take place at the Levis Center; 919 West Illinois Street,
Urbana,  except the screening of the film *The Seperation.*

The conference is free and open to the public.

Registration is requested in order to attend the conference meals
