Hello friends—join us at the IMC (Independent Media Center) at 202 S. Broadway 6-7pm, for the gala kick-off to the first Interdependent Film Festival: Women Make Movies! At the gala, there will be free food and drink (some really goooooood edibles), Almost A will perform their delightful music, with dancing encouraged.

The opening films, following the gala, are No Place to Put It by Roberta Bennet, a short; and The Montsanto Hearingsˆ, a full-length feature, by Sarah Kanouse and Sarah Lewison. A post screening discussion will follow. Beth Simpson will man the white board (woman the board) asking you for ideas of films you’d like to make.

see you tomorrow!
