Dear Peace,
I promised to put out some announcements for Channing-Murray. So I gathered
a bunch of other social justice related stuff too. All local stuff
happening in the next few weeks. Not the definitive list, but worthy of

“Breaking Down Racism” is the YMCA’s Friday Forum Lecture series this Fall
2015 semester. The subtitle is “Uncovering the Reality of Racial Injustice
in the U.S.
[9/18’s lecture has already happened. (the title was “Black Mothers in the
‘Hidden America’”: Effects of Discriminatory and Unequal Housing]
* What It Means to Be White – is September 25th
* Border Crisis, Immigration Policy , and Rhetorics of Citizenship – is

* Police Violence, Confederate Flags, and Sundown Towns – is October 9
* The History of African American School Achievement in the 20th Century –
