Good Morning,

The Office of Volunteer Programs is conducting a short survey to understand
why students volunteer. Please take the few minutes to fill out this
short survey at http://www.union.uiuc.edu/ovp/resources/survey.htm. If you
have any questions or concerns, please contact Kathy Guthrie at
kguthrie at uiuc.edu.

Does anyone have plans for this years spring break...besides sitting in front
of the TV vegging all day for the 3rd year in a row, well there is Alternative
Spring Break (ASB)! There will be 16 locations for volunteers to go to from
all across the United States, Mexico, and Gautemala. The issues addressed for
this trip will range from urban poverty to HIV/AIDS and to environmentalism.
To learn more about ASB's exciting opportunities for service, visit our
website at www.uiuc.edu/ro/asb or come to a spring break information night on
Wednesday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m. in 215 Greg Hall.

FREE T-shirt anyone!!! Well you only get one if you volunteer at this years
Health/Grag School Fair on October 28 where you will setup booths and Graduate
schools will be attending on the 29th. They need help on both days setting
up, directing traffic, and general program assistance. They have shift ranges
from 8-9, 10-11, 12-1, 1-2, and 2-3 on both Monday and Tuesday. Contact Chris
Evans at cvevans at uiuc.edu.
